 Chester Country StoreThe Chester
Country Store is located at the south end of the Blackfoot Reservoir
in the little community of Henry. The store was built in 1908 and
sports the look of another time. As one of the oldest stores in the
state, Chester's Country Store is a rustic stop that offers a peek
at the past.
What is now Caribou County was once the largest sheep producing
region in the Country, and Henry was a major summer base for
livestock operations. As you stand in Henry, a sense of "loneliness
on the range" experienced by those pioneers will grip you.
